sold1 time to say good bye

Post  kwakkat Thu Feb 09 2017, 17:02

well as the thread says it time to say goodbye to biking i,m going to sell the bike i just can,t ride it or give it time due to my heath so instead of sitting there staring at it & wishing i could ride it its got to go
49 years of bike riding is not easy to give up but ,ive got no choice in the matter i will pop in now & again
so if you see a old fart in a z3 trying to overtake you its me

Sorry to hear the news Pete,
Keep popping in to say hello and hopefully you and Fred can make it along to one of the rideouts in the Z3....Support vehicles always welcome at rideouts..... wink thumb up
With the Z3 having a boot and you going TEC it'll be handy for collecting all the bits that fly off Rosco's bike... LMAO

Health first Pete, but I know it isn't going to be easy to 'walk away' from biking - hopefully the Z3 will replace some of the loss.

Hi Pete

Sorry to hear this Pete.
Health matters more and it sounds like you've made the rational decision.
Don't be a stranger and you're welcome to attend any of the rideout meets even if you're not able to do the rideout itself.
Hope things work out best for you.

Very sorry to hear your news Pete.
As others have said "health comes first".
I'm sure you'll still be logging in here for all the Tomfoolery and banter, . . . and please do come along to the meets you would like to attend. Your company would be sorely missed at the socials.

At least you'll still have a "Z" under yer arse green smile

All the very best

I feel your pain. I have a horrible feeling it's going to happen to me sooner rather than later.

But at least you can have some driving, if not riding, enjoyment. That's why I've got my Colt Turbo as a backup!

P.s. I'm sure that wasn't your Z3 in the hedge at the Theale roundabout on the A4 a month ago?

Pete, you will always be a biker whether you have a bike or not. Enjoy the Z3 (my sister had one for years and loved it) and don't be a stranger
