Well that's it totally bucked now.
First topic message reminder :
Sorry to say that I've only gone and written off my beloved Thundercat.
Out with Daz, Atholl and H (not from Steps)
Heading to Ullapool and got 12 miles north of Spean Bridge when it happened.
Diesel spills kill (thankfully only the bike after it hit the Armco post) 12 miles north of Spean bridge right hander doing 50-60 in the wet.
Daz in front made it and thankfully Atholl behind made it without hitting me.
Felt it starting to go and by the time I'd swore I was sliding down the road. Didn't think I was braking or accelerating just enough to maintain speed.
Thankfully I escaped with just getting muddy and ripping my waterproofs.
Had that bike 12 and a half years (Spain, Alps, Germany, All over the UK and Ireland, track days) .....Gutted :(

I reckon there could well be an unveiling at BM right enough.
Don't worry Terry i've a feeling you'll still be able to keep the swan vestas on stand by.

Re: Well that's it totally bucked now.
Ross,
Only just seen this having been away on Holiday.
Gutted for you! As Nick said mine was pretty shagged up but was repaired, I might still have some spares in my parents garage should you decide to attempt a re-build, I am going back this coming weekend so can have a rummage around if you'd like.
Main thing is your ok and not hurting too much!

No No No Dave for gods sake don't encourage him let sleeping bags o s---e lie. Its dead thank god, no more waiting around while somebody tries another roadside repair, although I am a little worried by DBDs recent comment.
