Engine overheating
was out today and sat in traffic the temp gauge was climbing all the way up to 100, couldn't hear the fan so am guessing this is to blame. Any advice on how to sort this? Think maybe fuse blown or fan itself. Any help be great cheers

Re: Engine overheating
The fan doesn't come on until after 100. It looks alarming but they all do this. If it gets to the top of the gauge and still no fan, then there's a problem.

Re: Engine overheating
Think the fan starts around 104. sat in traffic the temp will rise very quickly, likewise it does drop pretty fast when you are moving freely again.

Re: Engine overheating
cheers steve, yeh I was shocked how quickly it rose up but then fan must have kicked in. Was just a shock when I looked down and saw it at 100.
