Post up here on a safe return home.
Another great weekend!! Today's ride was cancelled due to heavy rain so we went to the pub instead.
Saturday ride was good with no incidents other than getting lost and taking 30 mins to get out of Selkirk!!
Some good pics and stories to follow I'm sure.
Darren,Atholl and Mally headed for home and all safely arrived home.
Bob,Pete,Gordon, Gremlin & Ray all left this morning as well.
The rest of us are currently enjoying the craic and a few refreshments.
Very Happy

First to leave and most likely the last to get home! Arrived at an unacceptable time of 2 past 6 sad

Apologies for leaving without saying goodbye or partaking in the wonderful breakfast. 45 mins on the road and had to stop to put wet gear on - decided, foolishly, to go down the A1(M) and then 'mis-turned' and did bits of the M1 which I need not have done! Stopped at a services to get the wet gear off, coffee and err (anyway tmi), three 'hoody' teenagers came over and one at least was very chatty, not in the mood nor wanting to be too rude I made out I couldn't understand them - one wanted me to 'backy' him to London confused_2 and the usual question, how fast have you been on it!
First time I've seen a full electric car at a charging station, interesting chat with the owner and off on my way.

Pressed onto the fuel stop, Pam had urged me to stay there longer and have lunch - I did, took 45 mins to arrive, all in all quite some time lost, then just as I'm trying to leave a bloke wants to chat wall  Wants to know about the bike, he has one wadda wadda and then asks you do 80? "Yeah, sometimes" and smiled what's it with folk and wanting to know about speed Wink

So running behind schedule, so press on and I'm not going to stop for another 160 miles, or that was the plan. I noticed the indicators weren't working, hazards neither, umm maybe all the lighting isn't working, better find somewhere to stop and check - the bike had better ideas. Doing a fair speed in the middle lane and it dies on me - have to dive in front of a car to the side of the road, dash is dead but the satnav is still on Don\'t Know  Someone had posted last week they had the same issue, bike just died ... oh dear me. The key had turned to the off position Shocked All's well and am going again.

Too many 50mph road works, heavy traffic flows - I'm just loosing more and more time - anyway got home by my intended deadline, just. The rain had started lightly. Had enough time to get the gear inside before it has come down heavier.

Thanks to all the chief cooks and bottle washers, cleaners, ride leaders and TEC's and indeed to everyone (hang on that was everybody) for making it a great weekend. great

You want to see Pictures, not read me drivel

so here are mine, didn't take too many Wee Mac 2015 photos

Pretty uneventful trundle home, got home around 3pm I think.

As usual an excellent weekend. Thanks to all who set it up and came along, good to see old friends and hopefully made some new ones too!

Thundercat purred along the straights and wobbled around the corners...so all good.

1260km over the weekend in total.

Sorry to hear that Stevecat had bike trouble on the way home, hope you get it sorted by Yamaha
