Travelling to Wee Mac

First topic message reminder :

As the title says, who's heading Sooth to Wee Mac?

I'll the weather is unbelievably fantastic I'll be getting off the Orkney ferry at Scrabster on Thursday morning at 8am and going down the West coast, stopping at Applecross on the Friday night.

If the weather is not bad, I'll be getting off the Shetland ferry at Aberdeen on the Friday morning at 7am and winding my way down spending the day on many twisty roads dependent on where the sun is shining.

If the weather is really shitty I'll get off the Shetland ferry at Aberdeen on the Friday morning at 9am, head straight to Broadmeadows and thaw out/dry off.

Whats everyone elses plan?

Hi Rob, My house is really easy to find. Its on the main A684 a mile east of Leyburn, on the opposite corner of a pub called the Pheasant Inn. Right at the top of the bank in a village called Harmby. The post code is DL8 5PD but if your sat nav is like mine it will want to take you down the bank, there are 1 or 2 houses with the same PC. My house is called Hill House.

Err, yes Terry. According to Google maps, there's one on that road going into Harmby.

I've lived here for 25 years and don't know of any chapel. There's one in Leyburn, and a little shack at the bottom of the hill, but you wont go past it to get to mine. If you have trouble finding me give me a ruing on 01969623841

Dial gauge, discs and pads arrived. All fitted and it's sorted the judder out!

Big thanks to YZFjohn for collecting them from KTM Peterborough and getting them shipped to me so quickly.

Right disc had a thickness variation of 0.03mm and run out of 0.2mm so I think that was the culprit.

All being well I'll be on Thursdays ferry getting into Aberdeen at 7am, I'll give you a txt when I get there. What time were you thinking of setting off? I don't need to leave at 7, you can return to the boat for breakfast so I might do that then tie in with what your plans are.

Does your number still end 7751?

In short, bike sorted and I'm a happy man!

Not sure what my plan is at the moment Chris, as the A939 Cockbridge/Tomintoul road is blocked by snow, and that was my route over to the A93, and i dont fancy it if the road is gonna be slippery,

So i may just meet up with you in Perth... gonna be weather watching the next few days..

DBD. Have you heard any more from Atholl??

Is your number still ending in 5261 Chris? As Atholl is coming aswell and wants to meet up, so i thought as you two are gonna be on the A93 you could meet up, first then i will catch up with you somewhere along the road..
