Bit late but HI
Hi I'm Adam. I've been a member for a few months now and have been getting some great help from you guys but I didn't realise this section was here before (doh) so thought it'd be polite to introduce myself properly.
Well I'm at 28 year old tattooist living in cleethorpes, Lincolnshire but originally from good old Southend on Sea in Essex.
I've been riding bikes most of my life but only legally for the past 2 years :-) Had my 96 thundercat for the past 7 months and absolutely love it. She was a last minute impulse buy while on my way to view a cbr600 and got to say I'm more than glad it went that way.
Anyways I look forward to chatting to you all and helping others in anyway I can. In the meantime I'll apologise in advance for all the questions and new topics ill undoubtedly start (Y)
Cheers

Hi Adam,
My brother lives in Southend-on-Sea and I spent a few months there when I returned to the UK nearly 9 years ago.
No apologies needed for starting topics, that's what keeps the place going.
If you haven't seen the thread on how to post pics, including mobiles,
Impulse buy maybe, but I'm sure you will continue to be pleased you chose the
Welcome.

Hey & welcome to the site. My cat was an impulse buy nearly 14 years ago while I was rebuilding my crashed gsxr. Still got the cat but sold the Suzuki.

Re: Bit late but HI
Finally got to a pc, heres how she sat when i first got her home
hope that works haha
then this was after i changed the exhaust for something shorter and louder
i managed to get her for £900 with 20,000 miles on the clock, full mot, new tyres, pads, recent service and some history. as you can see she was cosmetically perfect and the engine seems solid enough, maybe just a cam chain noise but nothing major.

Looks very tidy & a bargain for that money. Might be worth trying a new cam chain tensioner.

Re: Bit late but HI
Yeah greencat I was probably on here in august but staying quiet haha I didn't come to the ride out but I was at Willingham woods most weeks.
Didn't see any other thundercats there though? Do you go to the meet there atall?
I'll hopefully be coming along to more ride outs this year, start getting more involved in the bike community
