Taste of Lincolnshire 2014 sign-up page

Here are accommodation options available for this years ride-out around Lincolnshire.

The base is in Woodhall Spa and we'll be exploring some of the best roads and finest food the area has to offer.
The start and ending point will, again, be the very hospitable Village Limits Country Pub, Restaurant and Motel. We have stayed here many times before. It's a modest pub and restaurant with wonderful accommodation and fantastic award winning food. I have pre-booked 4 twin rooms. All spaces are currently taken and I'll be needing deposits soon. They do have 8 rooms in total so, if you want to stay, please contact them directly to see if they have any other vacancies. There is also other hotel and bed and breakfast accommodation in the village and a good campsite next door to the main venue. Accommodation shouldn't be a problem, but please get in touch if you need more information.

You a funny guy Mark   you make I laugh, happy to meet up somewhere and ride over, looks like it would be a hell of a detour for one or both of us to actually get to a meet point so open to suggestions pal, no problem.

Sorry Chris, I don't think I'll be making this one the missus is drying me out! lol (we're saving for a house)

Alex is committed to another event on the rideout day so I know he won't be able to make it.

I'm in! Meals both nights please (might arrive lateish on Friday).

Pam and I will be able to make it this year,  have called The Village Limits and have taken the last twin room (room 4) which has been added to the list of rooms you booked Chris.
Dinner for both nights for us please.

We shall be there for this bash. Hopefully camping next door if I'm allowed to have the time off. No meals for us at the pub as we shall have a bbq instead.

Sadly I'm going to have to bow out of ToL this year, few things have come up and going to struggle to make it now.

Gutted I can't come! And hopefully I will be able to make it next year

For those who are attending it's time to stump up deposits, make menu choices and look forward to Lincolnshire sausages for breakfast   
I'll message those of you who need to pay a deposit soon with all the details.
I've contacted the venue for a list of any special menu choices they may have available and will post those up. Hopefully by the weekend. In the meantime check out the standard menu here

I've managed to let one of the spare places, but there is still one space available if anyone wants to join us for the Friday and Saturday nights. Cost is £85.00 B&B for the two nights sharing a twin room. Just send me a message. First come, first served!

The lunch stop (pub) has been arranged and I've also been asked to let them know in advance what you'd like so here's a lunch menu selection. Prices are around £6 for a hot selection, less for baguettes etc

Chilli con carne
Hot chilli chicken
Steak pie (mash or chips)
Ham,egg & chips
sausage caserole
Lincolnshire sausages (mash or chips)
Ham salad & chips
Various bagettes (prawn,tuna,cheese + onion,bacon,stilton & mushroom etc)

The route is being finalised and tested in sections. It'll be difficult to beat last year's roads, but I'll give it a good try!
This time the plan is to head into the heart of Lincoln. If you know Lincoln traffic you must think I'm crazy, but it will work.
In eleven years of ToL we've never been into Lincoln so I think it's time to do that.

I'm hoping to leave mid afternoon (ish) and I don't have keys for Rob & Linz's tent. I'll be trying to take a sort of scenic route down. Prob best not to wait for me and if I get there in time I'll squeeze on the end of the table.
I'll try and keep you updated with progress / eta.

I'll have sausage and mash (lunch) and Grimsby haddock (dinner) but you'd better bring a list of who has ordered what as I'll never remember.
