So far i've put LED indicators, upgraded headlight, crash shrooms, DB screen, DID X ring gold chain and steel sprockets, wired in a digital clock.
I recently put on a honda fireblade rear LED light which has made a huge difference, and looks fantastic.
A phone/sat-nav mount is next on the to do list i think.

Pretty much the same as ChunderTat, apart from the digital clock, but I'm planning
to upgrade the brake lines to steel braided ones, and maybe some wavy disc rotors.
Depends on finances of course lol.
And ChunderTat, can you take a pic of the fireblade rear LED please? I'd love to see what it looks like.
That would an upgrade I'd definitely be interested in.
Cheers.

I have the double bubble, R&Gs, LED rear light, Nonfango rack and topbox, Scottoiler and a road legal titanium can. I have also fitted a Telferizer sat nav mount.
I'd like to do a projector headlight upgrade and fit LED DRLs. And do braided brake lines. And replace/upgrade the fork oil.

Great job there ChunderCat! Very impressive indeed. And yeah, the light seems to really stand out.
Great mod for sure. What year model is the fireblade tail light from?

Just to let you bmario, there is an LED light that fits straight into the cat without any cutting, it's £60 or so from eBay-without or without integrated indicators. I've got one and am pretty happy with it-it's definately an upgrade over standard. Can't remember which eBay seller I used but just type in thundercat rear light. Hope that helps!

Re: Whatgs the best mods for a Cat ?
cheers bmarlo
it's from an 03-06 fireblade, the 600rr or 1000rr will do it i think.
i got mine from e-bay for 20 pound and luckily it came with the plastic surround, which i turned in to the holder for my LED lights.
I used my old light surround too, it's not a perfect fit, but if it stops spray and dust from the road goin under the seat and into the electrics, then it will do me!

I saw those when i was looking at upgrading, whats the brightness like?Webbadim wrote:Just to let you bmario, there is an LED light that fits straight into the cat without any cutting, it's £60 or so from eBay-without or without integrated indicators. to be honest, i think the fireblade light looks better because it follows the lines of the bike better, the shape of the standard thundercat light looks a bit dated in my opinion.

Re: Whatgs the best mods for a Cat ?
It's really good-certainly much brighter than the standard one-not sure that it's quite as bright as cheshiretats blade version though.
If you can pick up a blade light for less and are handy enough with the tools I'm sure it's better in the aesthetics stakes, although for a nice simple upgrade that looks relatively standard I'm more than happy.

Re: Whatgs the best mods for a Cat ?
I've fitted led mini indys, Delkovic s/s can, scottoiler, home made rack with top box, and the best mod of all if wrist comfort is an issue is the bar flip mod, and it's free! Oh, and a baglux tank cover.
