Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
First topic message reminder :
We've been a bit slow setting this up, but a date for ToL has now been set.
Saturday 30th August 2014
Normally it would be the first weekend in September, but the accommodation was not available.
I know it might clash with holidays etc, but still looking forward to welcoming some of you to Lincolnshire.
Yes, were back at the same place; with camping on the doorstep for the boys!
4 twin rooms have been booked so if you wish to reserve accommodation please let me or Mechy know.
Cost is 42.50 pppn B&B
More details to follow soon.
Chris

Oh go on then - put me down for it if there is still space.
I'll share with anyone who'll have me.
Let us know when and where you want the dough.
Cheers
Ross

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
I should be able to make this one now as we are putting the honeymoon fund towards a deposit on a house so will no longer be going on honeymoon at the end of August ... every cloud has a silver lining though right?

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
Well after a busy time me and chris finally got out to start an attempt on the route for this year,, now we have sorted about 10% out and have come up with the idea that we will just turn up on the day and take suggestions on the route , kind of a magical mystery tour ???
I will say in all honesty that the ride out might be the first time i ride my bike for proper this year so please be aware i will be rather slower (if possible) and will ride accordingly

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
Mechy, when your in the mood, your as quick as any of us lot.
My proper biking this year so far is Wee Mac and a couple of track days.
Because I care and cherish your company, I'll be at the back with you if you are tail end Charlie this year.

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
Needs to be braver or more daring he does. Not just a straight line specialist on motorways.
That Fazer has made him a light weight ( apart from the M180). Needs a kinda samoui sword or of similar piece of kit to get his riding up to scratch again.

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
Sadly I'm going to have to bow out of ToL this year, few things have come up and going to struggle to make it now.
Gutted I can't come! And hopefully I will be able to make it next year

Re: Taste of Lincolnshire 2014
Tomorrow's the day!!
Last night I gave my bike its customary pre-ride out shakedown. I can report that it passed with a clean bill of health; the tyres never burst when I kicked them and the bodywork stood up to the rigours of a damp cloth. All fluids are healthy, and so are the bike's.
The weather forecast seems to be going our way too!
