insurance bulb change robbery! Empty insurance bulb change robbery!

Whilst getting quotes yesterday I had a play looking at how much certain mods would cost me on my premium. The bare bones non modded quote was 210 tpft. A supercharger increased it to 360 which I thought fair enough. The surprise of the night though was if I declared an uprated headlight bulb it costs another 120 on the premium.
Bit more faffing about and changing the place the bike is kept overnight from a locked building to a wooden shed (which it is) and the price dropped to 130. Get in, half the price of my renewal quote and its with breakdown cover

Insurance is just a big scam! it's crazy how much prices change.... my friend owns a Honda vtr1000f, on the 10th November (day before his 19th) he was getting quotes of £4000+ tpft, a day later, it dropped to £360 fc?!
needless to say, I was slightly jealous haha
