northampton , anybody there?

First topic message reminder :

i found nice bike in Northampton, i am ready to go there and pick up bike but i am worry about travelling.
not about coming back on the bike , more about when i go there bike will be so bad i will cry because i wast time and money to get there :(
Can anybody help me please? can anybody go and check bike? or advice what to do?

In your prevous post you ask how much we think yours is worth, you say it's a 99 with 31000 miles , so 2000 more than the bike your looking at and it's a 2000 , which could mean it's two months newer , that's a stupid reason to buy it , by the time you've got it home and shown it off round ya mates you'll pur those 2000 miles on it then it'll be the same as yours . If you have 1800 go out get a wrap done in what ever colour you want . Get the frame painted at a shop and there you go a nicer looking bike with some money left in your pocket.

If it's Shit dont accept your bike back or pay for it until it's done right and looks good , do you not use a garage to fix a problem unless some one has used them before Just in case there shit?? Do you only shop at Asda incase Tesco is Shit ?? Did you want someone to try them first ?? Because sainsburys are quite good to

Speak to Kev (Cheshirecat) he has the Chinese fairings and up close they look good. You'll pay a lot more for a respray than you will for a set off eBay.

Why don't you save your money and upgrade your bike? I only paid that for my '05 Daytona.

ther is another problem. order new fairings or paint it or use vinyl wrap ?

Tom, mine is red and black from Hong kong, really nice bit of kit for £339 and it fits really well with no issues just yet (still waiting with fingers crossed lol). As for Alex's fairings, for what hes offering them for, you'd be a fool not to. I was well impressed with it when we met.

But as others have said, love and enjoy your bike as she is, 'Cats are awesome and i'm sure as soon as your having fun with her you won't want anything else.

Somthing else I was gunna say is mine is a 99 plate with 62000 miles on ,iit's high milage but it has not missed a beat so yours with 30000 miles is nothing , mines double yours and still perfect
