Bupa Great Manchester Run

I'd just like to say a massive THANKYOU to all of the forum members who kindly donated to my chosen charity this year, The Alzheimer's Society. With your help we have managed to smash our initial target of £500 and are now pushing towards £600 and beyond.

I know times are hard for a lot of people at the moment and I'm truly touched by the generosity of people I definitely consider friends.

With regard to the run itself, 10k may not seem like a great distance but for a beer drinking, chimney smoking takeaway Hoover like me it was truly a challenge and I will be certainly training for next years event. (Which I've already been told I'm entering because my daughter wants to run it with me).
