Wee Mac Checkin
First topic message reminder :
Back safe in Lancaster after a run down with John, Mevsy and Greencat - rained all the way down the A7, did a couple of junctions of the M6 then hopped on to the A6. Stopped off for refreshments in Penrith and the sun came out! so a final thrash over dried out and adhesive roads over Shap, bit gusty and nearly got blown off the bike at one point, but home in time for tea
Thanks all for a great weekend.

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
Just a quick check in note, got into fleetwood. Where my aunt and uncle are .... Needed a stopover to get back as its a rather long way from Selkirk to north Oxfordshire it turns out... Doesn't look that far on my google maps iPhone app screen......
Big thanks to Ross for all the planning of the trip and to all the chefs, clearer uppers, to all the peeps on the ride out (which was cracking) , to Linz as mentioned above for getting all the food and drink in.
Cracking weekend in all and can't wait for next year.
Will get all my photos up when I am back home at the end of the week, and will attempt a write up to for the forum to.
Ok so that wasnt very quick....
P.S Tom it was me that had the camera on my lid , as others have said a little please orthankyou goes a long way! Once I am home and all sorted I will have a look through the whole days footage and se if you got onto candid camera

Ewan and I got home at 2.20 and Rob arrived at 3.05 and has only just finished cleaning his bike.
Thank you to everyone for the briliant company throughout the weekend as always and we are already looking forward to the next rideout we are able to come on.
Particular thank you to Ross for the organisation and everyone who helped to amuse Ewan with us.

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
Got home around 16:45, tired saddle sore but happy.
Traveled with Terry, Chris, Bob John, Rob and Dave to Longtown where we said goodbye to Dave, Rob and Bob. A little damp and very windswept.
The jaunt over to Richmond started damp but it soon turned into a glorious day. Thanks to Chris and Katie for a nice cuppa in their new abode then it was fuel and the A1. But that clogged up so I took the A19 to york and the 1079 back home.
Thanks to all who made the weekend a good one and I look forward to going back next year.
Ride and stay safe peeps!
Rich.

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
Ach well.
I suppose I'd better check in too.
What a GREAT weekend desire mother natures best efforts to thwart us we managed a fantastic Rideout on the Saturday.
The venue was great as usual. The Craic was great as usual. The Rideout despite a low speed gravel incident was great. Unfortunately high speed wind caused another incident in the car park.
Hope the repairs go well.
Since I don't think we can better it we're just going to do the same again next year me thinks.
I'll put up a sign up page soon(ish)
BIG thanks to dirt bike Dave for putting my bike back together the morning and early afternoon of the Friday. I think I owe you a wee Whisky.
Thanks to Linz for bringing Ewan to keep us entertained and also for her taxi and shopping services - couldn't have done it without you.
To all the volunteer back markers - sterling job.
To all the people who marked junctions. You did it brilliantly (most of the time) and recovered well when it went a bit Pete Tong.
Hope you all enjoyed it and you'll come back for more.
The folks who had to cancel at the last minute have been PM'd and should have received a £20 refund thanks to attendees generosity
Dianne has kindly offered a 10% discount to anyone on the site to book any of the accomodation at Broadmeadows over the next six months.
Just PM me or Dirt Bike Dave for the code.
Cheers
Rosco
