Wee Mac Checkin
Back safe in Lancaster after a run down with John, Mevsy and Greencat - rained all the way down the A7, did a couple of junctions of the M6 then hopped on to the A6. Stopped off for refreshments in Penrith and the sun came out! so a final thrash over dried out and adhesive roads over Shap, bit gusty and nearly got blown off the bike at one point, but home in time for tea
Thanks all for a great weekend.

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
My posting doesn't seem to have happened so here is a second go.
Got home about 5.30, even with the knackered chain she didn't miss a beat and got me home.
Did get the news from my daughter that the sister-in-law had an off today and is in hospital awaiting chest and hip x-rays but had 2 broken fingers.
According to the brother-in-law a moment lack of concentration and she lost it on a bend.
Great weekend and hope to have issues fixed for the next on.

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
Back home safe and sound a while ago after a wet ride home with Krusty. John and Greencat. Very windy too, especially on the A66, nightmare! Huge thanks to everyone that played a part in making it a very memorable weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it, the ride, the food and drink and the craic. To those on here that have never done a rideout, you should! You don't know what you are missing..

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
Back down to Thirsk. Fed and watered and checking out the postings.
Thanks to John, Martin, Paul & Karina for the ride down to Carlisle. The A7 was still a great ride even with the rain & wind.
Glad to hear John got back OK despite the chain. Hope you get it fixed without too much of a problem.
The A66 certainly was quite a wild ride!
Congratulations to Ross for pulling off another great weekend. Thanks to everyone who contributed time and effort to feed, supply and entertain us all. You know who you are!
I hope everyone has a good final evening and a safe ride home tomorrow.

You are kidding right? You wanted pics, so I've spent over an hour putting them on as I have a slow internet connection. I don't have a camcorder, thought you would be happy with pics. You could have taken them Tom, we saw you out on your bike, where are those pics?

Those Panigale's are braw looking bikes, but the software probably doesn't let you pass a petrol station without putting something in the tank.
Re: Wee Mac Checkin
I think you'll find that people aren't here for your amusement Tom, they don't dance to your tune. If someone has camcorder footage of the weekend then they'll post it when they're good and ready, if they post it at all!! You jumping up and down barking random words gets nothing done, just takes a few kind words, a please and a thankyou!!TomCom wrote:where is camcorder

Re: Wee Mac Checkin
Got home around 1:30. Had a great blast back up thru Peebles on the way back with Ross and Euan. Dry roads the whole way home
Thanks to everybody who attended and made it the usual fantastic weekend these ride outs are.
Ride on Saturday was superb.
Thanks to Ross for his impeccable organisation. Cheers to the back markers, chefs, washer uppers and to Linz for doing our shopping in the service vehicle.
Hope Tes gave the butler a tip for his silver service. You could have a new career Mevsy!!!
5 weeks to the Alps trip. Canny wait!!!!
