A couple of years ago when our German friends came over to share Big Mac with us they (and we) were booked in and very much looking forward to our stay at Carbisdale Castle.

We ended up getting moved to Ullapool instead which was great.....but it wasn't a castle.

It would appear we might never get to stay in this castle.
Good job we got the well equipped and newly refurbished Oban hostel this time round.

We'll keep our eyes peeled for something special for 2014.....as always we're open to suggestion Shocked
