Ello from Sheffield
Thought that I would introduce myself.
My names Tom and I'm currently on the way to pick up a thundercat, a 2002 blue cat.
Ill be looking in the rideout section for any meets near Sheffield.
If anyone is in/around Sheffield there is a egg run for the Sheffield children's hospital.
Tom

Re: Ello from Sheffield
Hi and welcome to the site, great choice of bike and in the best (and fastest colours too) IMO, Sheffield not million miles away and I'm always loitering around glossop etc in the good weather so will be up for a blast soon hopefully.
In the meantime have a look in the something for the weekend section there are plenty of organised ride outs throughout the year, normally involving and overnight stay, brilliant roads and some beer fuelled shenanagins!!

Hi and welcome Tom.
I'm sure there will be plenty of rides when the weather decides to improve.

Hi & Welcome Tom
Lovely looking bike.
Plenty of ad-hoc local rideouts for those interested in organising them - just post up and see if you get any local interest.
Quite a few BIG ones across the country too HERE
Cheers

Hello Tom!
Welcome aboard matey
We're just a few mins away in Chezzy Vegas so may well be round and about when the weather picks up.
Make yourself at home, nice bike.

Re: Ello from Sheffield
Hi Tom,
Welcome to the site. As Mechy says your nearest local rideout is ToL - which reminds me I need to start organising it. But there are plenty more - before and after. Will no doubt be some impromptu meets too. If you don't know where Willingham Woods is in Lincolnshire look it up on the web. That's a good run from Sheffield. Hopefully meet you there or on one of the rideouts sometime.
Chris

Re: Ello from Sheffield
thanks for the kind replies!
I collected the bike and enjoyed a nice 170mile trip home.
I think the carbs could benefit from a strip down and clean, it seems to hesitate a tiny bit around 3k rpm.
I'm absolutely thrilled with it! I might look at fitting a jack up kit with being 6ft2!

Re: Ello from Sheffield
Well I'm nearly 6 ft.
There maybe one or two vertically challenged individuals on here.
But we're not 'sizeist', we welcome everyone

Re: Ello from Sheffield
I'm 6ft but it appears that's not very tall anymore, I think it's more average these days, (well apart from on here)
