Isle of Wight roads - officially the worst in the country.

Unfortunately you're up against stiff competition as a lot of council seem to pride themselves on letting them get into a state :(

That looks messy, looks like the kind of road I'd find on one of my infamous 'short cuts'

I was on the island nearly 2 months ago, thought the roads had generally worsened from my previous trip two years ago.
However I think [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] still takes the cake. Strange, your pic and my video both show rather wet muddy roads

I was a shop steward for the GMB for about 5 years and I'm surprised some of them managed to get off their arses and out of the office.
It's not like they're a mainly transport based union either (General, Municipal, Boilermakers).


Anyhoo, Scotlands roads aren't that bad, those shown would just be classed as tracks up here. (I've driven on plenty)
The IoW is distinctly upper-upper middle though and probably expect a dual carriageway between their house and stable.
