Not really a newbie...
And bloody hell, I've missed a lot. There's no way I'm going to catch up with everything so I'm just going to mark everything as read.
So for those that don't know me, hello! I'm Chris, andI'm an addict I've got a red '99 Cat sat in the garage looking very forlorn. She's had a tough life, bless her, and needs a fair bit to get through an MOT - new exhaust headers, the unsticking of at least one calliper and a new battery for starters, and who knows what else. And the valve clearances need doing. It never rains but it pours. But I love the old girl, and the price of a brand new 1250 Bandit with full luggage scares me a bit, so I'm going to stick with what I know.
As for anyone who does remember me (and my snail's pace cornering at Bishop's Castle.... 2011?) - what have I missed?

Hi Chris, welcome back.
Hopefully there aren't too many repairs and you're back on the road in time for the 'good' weather.

Re: Not really a newbie...
Blimey, BC this year did look interesting!
As for BC5, yes I'm definitely interested - although I may wimp out and splash the cash for a B&B rather than kip in a soggy tent this time

Re: Not really a newbie...
There's the bunkhouse or a static caravan in the campsite too Chris - still a reasonable walk to and from the Boars Head tho' .

I don't mind the walk, it gives me a chance to build up an appetite on the way there... and sober up on the way back!

Re: Not really a newbie...
Nick suggested I lead part of the route round Wales this time..... I think otherwise!
Unless you fancy a magical mystery tour Hereford anyone?
(Shhh don't tell him but I kinda like sitting mid-pack and having a bit of fun, and he makes such a good job of it )

Wasn't a bad road you found there Ellie, mystery tours are great as long as everyone is on the same one
