Hello All
I join you from the South Coast - Bournemouth to be precise.
I recently bought the Cat as it suited my lanky 6ft3in frame. It's my 18th bike since passing my test 19 years ago. After a few years break I was toying with this and a ZX7R but realised that with age come the added restrictions on stiffness of joints and aching wrists coupled with a new found fear of premature death so the cat won.
I'm really pleased with the cat, and although revvy (my last bike was a VTR1000) it pulls well and keeps up with the best of them. People are surprised its a 15 year old bike as it still looks pretty modern. The bike only has 19k miles on the clock and is very clean.
No quibbles yet but I've only done 90 miles on it since buying it.
Came to the forum to look for hints and tips on improving performance and solving any niggles that may arise. I am also selling the race can from the bike (see classifieds section).
So if anyone is paying a visit to the coast this summer, it would be great to pop out for a spin (work & kids permitting)

Hi Lion-o
Welcome to the site.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.
18 bikes in 19 years....Wow! You scared you're missing something?
I've had 2 in 13 years.
The grass is very green with the Thundercat so you might keep her for a while.
Good luck with the can sale.
Are we getting to see the rest of the bike?
Cheers

I get bored easily. A couple ended up under cars (VFR400) and embedded into back of vans (Aprillia Pegaso - 1 hour after picking it up) etc.
Luckily the Cat is not my sole form of transport now so I can use it purely for fun.
