Re: Thundercat tyres for other bike
that would all depend on other bikes having the same wheel/tyre sizing's as the cat.
google will probably tell you everything you'd need to know, I guess if you were looking at other bikes instead fo the cat for your next bike you can always see what tyres they would take and if that matches the tyres you have.
Though I wouldnt get a new bike just on the basis that the tyres from a cat fit on it.......

Find out their wheel sizes then compare against your tyres

Re: Thundercat tyres for other bike
CBR and R6 will run different tyres.
IIRC R6 and CBR are 170/180 rears Tcat is 160.
Fronts you may get away with.
I know an SV650 uses same size tyres - but lacks the performance of the Cat...

Re: Thundercat tyres for other bike
It will definitely fit a Yamaha YZF600R.
Seriously though - I don't think you should make tyre choice affect your bike choice but another Thundercat will definitely fit those tyres.
If you end up with something else you can always just sell those tyres.
Good Luck

Re: Thundercat tyres for other bike
If you opt for another bike I'm sure someone on here will buy the tyres off you for a fair price, or keep them if you get another thundercat
Before you put any money down on a bike just check what the insurance is going to be, don't forget you've had 2 claims in reasonably quick succession and even if they're not your fault they will affect your insurance. Stepping up to a more performance bike such as an R6 could be very costly.
As an example someone once run into my company car while I was parked up, it was a none fault claim and the other insurance company paid out.
Being an honest person my wife disclosed this claim when HER renewal came through and the premium increased by £250. The insurance company excuse was that even though I wasn't at fault for the accident and could have done little to prevent it (apart from park elsewhere) I was STATISTICALLY more likely to have another accident!!
Just beware
