Re: Can anybode help to repair my bike?
What extent is the damage on the bike? They wanted to write mine off but I decided I would repair it myself and charge parts etc to the insurance company through my claim. I didn't want to lose my Kitty!

Re: Can anybode help to repair my bike?
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they give you a good pay out for the bike.
That's the reason I fixed mine myself and charged it to the 3rd party. Didn't want mine written off.

Mike

Re: Can anybode help to repair my bike?
Sorry to hear about the accident.
My bike was a Cat A write off after my accident in May, not a salvageable part on it. The insurers paid out in 6 weeks.
Good luck in getting everything sorted.

Re: Can anybode help to repair my bike?
Ok well post up what needs doing, most things are fairly easy, I'll help as much as I can and I'm sure others will too.
Are the insurers letting you keep the bike?

Re: Can anybode help to repair my bike?
Hopefully they let you keep it. Although some insurers won't insure you on a bike they have previously written off. Yours may be different though.
Will be interested to see what damage is on the bike when you find out. Shame you don't live closer, I'd quite like to help fix it!
Regards
Mike

Re: Can anybode help to repair my bike?
Well take the £2000 and run, if you believe you can't repair the bike.
Goto ebay and get yourself a new bike for £1500 and use the remaining £500 for insurance and new boots and helmet . . . simples . . .
