Sunday Meet (26 April)
First topic message reminder :
Anybody free on Sunday 26 April for a quick cuppa, up (or down) here in Yorkshire?
Two GREAT venues have been discussed - either Squires (Sherburn in Elmet) or Seaways (Fridaythorpe) a few people are interested BUT we thought it better to open this up to all!
Motor Sport Fans will know theres a lot happening that weekend - Moto GP in Japan, Grand Prix in Bahrain and WRC in Argentina, so I'm sure a slice of cake will also be required to draw people away from the TV

Re: Sunday Meet (26 April)
HA Obviously it was the owners of Dunham Bridge that gave scotland the idea - (or the owners of the Humber Bridge)!!!! Nope - they're so desperate they need the 10p from poor bikers so i think it would be a really good idea to get a good load of bikers to go all at once one day and for everyone of them to pay in coppers!!!! Bet they scrap it after that (either that or we'd all get Fixed Penalty Notices for causing a Section 5 Disorder!!!!!!!!)

Sunday 26th Meet
Only hours to go for the Seaways EXtra Yamaha Run, or for the observant SEXY Run, well with the attendance of so many female T Cat riders Seaways wont know what hit them.
So glad Suzie is coming as without her I would not know what my fellow T cat mates look like. If the weather holds out, Seaways can get pretty busy so wont be much chance of getting the Cats together but before we leave must get a pic or two sorted. If there is a bit of room near the top of the car park may be worth the first there putting their bike where we can get a few together.
Looking forward to it

Re: Sunday Meet (26 April)
I hope someone has remember to book the nice weather for tomorrow..... though I think I'm erring on the side of caution and wearing something marginally waterproof (yeah I know that's what waterproofs are for but I can't be ersed riding all the way in them and they don't fit in my bum bag!) On saying that I might have a mad turn in the morning and just go for it with the leathers! :batman:
Looking forward to seeing some old (you know who you are!) and some new faces tomorrow - I'm the shy, retiring one in case anyone doesn't recognise me

Re: Sunday Meet (26 April)
Ezzy, I think the toll over the Humber Bridge is about £1.20. Scandalous I know!
Shame I can't make this one guys, it looks like it's gonna be fun.
Hope the weather is good for you and you all have a great time. Looking forward to pics.
Stay safe!

Re: Sunday Meet (26 April)
Hello all,
Back safe and sound, if a bit of an eventfull homeward ride.
Thanks to everyone for a great meet. Good to meet new members and put faces to names and to the known people again.
Fantastic weather all day (accept for the few spots of rain on way home).
Stopped off for a cheeky iced cream (50 different flavours to choose from), at this well hidden ice parlour . . . yum yum
Fi gets 11 out of 10 for the effort of most distance covered for a cup of coffee
Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks again

PS: Thanks to Trev (sgtbash) for baby sitting me on my first ride in anger for 6 months
. .. Thanks also to Martin (trafman) for the visor cleaner nice one m8

Re: Sunday Meet (26 April)
And I'm home... and just out the shower as I thought my body was going to give up on me... got home about 9pm (decided to come up the A68 as it's less boring than the A1).
Thanks for a fab day - especially Nick, my perfect Escort and Picture Taker (oo'eer missus!) Managed to cover 465 miles today - 4 Landmarks got, and I could now eat a scabby horse with a saddle on it - off to get some tea. When's the next one?
to catch up with you all
Fi
P.S. I've not been on face book yet Suzie.... just you wait.... I'll get you back!!
