One of my mates from Manchester is doing a bike tour with one of his mates

Manchester -> Morocco

Sound good? Guess what bikes they are doing it on???

What else but....
Honda.

.
.
.
C90's

That's right, they are going on one of these each

Loaded up with camping gear and stuff for maintaining the bikes. I'm off to meet them at Abergavenny bus station on Sunday morning and bringing them back to my house in Wiltshire for a stop over. It's going to be a different ride home than I'm used to, no dual carriageways or motorways leading two fully loaded C90's.

Sounds like a great adventure. I hope those seats are comfortable, they'll be on them for a while...  Cool

Nice Adventure in front of them both. I wish them well and success. I bet they'll never forget this one.
Are they being sponsored at all or doing this in aid of a charity ?

That's a shame, an opportunity missed for a good cause, and I'm sure MCN - MCM, both would have loved to have heard from them . . . perhaps even if they kept personal and individual daily journals covering their experiences on the trip they still might ?

Sounds brilliant! Honda C90's are the business, this the story of my sisters sorely abused example. I nicked your picture, as I don't have a picture of her old bike

I also did John O'Groats to Lands End in 1990 non stop with a group of mates on a twist and go 50...we had an amazing time and raised a few quid for charity in the process

The C90 trip will be amazing, get them to take some pictures and tell us how they get on

I have a read of those articles Radar.

Turns out they are not C90's, but a derivative, one is an 05 plate and the other an 07 but both still single cylinder carbed jobbies. Here's some pics
