Good Morning
Hi Guys, my name is Pete, 27 and recently just got a Thundercat.
Passed my test a few years ago, moved to Australia and rode this,
Since I have returned, I bought this locally. It had 8k on and had never been out in the rain....
So far I have lowered the clip ons, mini indicators, trimmed the plate surround, new plate, got rid of a few stickers.
Not flush with cash at the minute so just enjoying riding it, but in the future I would like to change the gearing, a slip - on, shorty levers (these seem to be hard to find) and re-upholster the seat as the corners have annoying little tears in!
Thanks for looking
Pete

Re: Good Morning
Hi Pete and welcome to the forum, plenty of knowledgeable peeps on here with a lot of good advice, any questions you got have a look through the posts, there's a wealth of information and the intuitive search thingie is pretty good.
I seem to remember there was a thread not so long ago about Pazzo style stubby levers which someone was trialling of eBay for about a 10th of the price, worth a search.
Good luck with the cat and hope to see you out and about on a forum ride out in the future.
Steve

Re: Good Morning
Hey & welcome to the forum.
Love the cat in red & yours like like a nice example.
Fairly sure that the first generation r6 levers are the same fitment as the cats so try searching for levers accordingly.
Paul.

Re: Good Morning
Welcome.
You have to add some banjo washes to pad out the clutch lever unless you put an R6 Perch on, brake is good.
Wowey found some good levers that she put on her bike, they were from Outa Country and took about 2weeks I think.

Re: Good Morning
Thanks for the warm welcome fellas.
Found out more about what I would like to know in half a day on here, than in three weeks of trawling.
Hopefully will get out for a ride with you guys.
Cheers
