Saw This in MCN today

flicking through this weeks MCN I came across a photo at the bottom of a column, just wondered if Any one recognise anyone in these photos as it seems like a thundercat forum/club ride out.




It might just be me, but the person circled in this photo does look somewhat similar to our dear friend Oldcat Though I maybe wrong

I think you're on to something there Dave.

There are a couple of likely lads on there Dave but for some reason they look about ten years younger? Maybe their younger brothers lol

'tis the March 10^th 2002 issue of the MCN Thundercat day in Peterborough.
Well that's where the original photo is from. The article took up two whole pages of the MCN all about our beloved Yamaha YZF600R Thundercats.

We had a great day out all on MCN. Filled our bikes up with fuel, fed and watered us and took us on a wee ride out around the peterborough area. Did a couple of photo shoots (I have a CD with the surviving pictures on) as well as interviewed us all about the Cat, what we'd had before and were looking to move to next.

In the above photo are (from left): Copout , Weebag , 0ldcat , Vanguard , Ron279 , Diesel (aka N^o.1) , topcatbones (TCB) and Debbshere.

Yet to get this weeks copy of the comic and see what the photo has been pinned to.

Yes Tel it's one of my regulars in Wansford. Doesn't look much different in your day!

An abundance of Silver/Yellow there,wonder how many are still going strong and just as clean.

It's only the one front & centre that is silver/yellow. The three to the left of the photo were the (at the time) more popular black/silver/gold variety.
At least one of the b/s/g Cats has gone to the great yam dealer in the sky :( , the nugget that bought mine wrote it off being over zealous on brand new tyres.
