Spring has finally Sprung
Great week this week, stayed dry the whole time and from Wednesday on it was glorious riding both too and from work.
Also had the Cat serviced today and apart from new brakes front and rear (I already knew they needed doing so no surprises) she had a completely clean bill of health, not even an advisor, so after a hard winter of commuting she deserved the treat

Agreed, it's been an awesome week for commuting to and fro. Even took a little ride out at lunch to visit Jodrell Bank... you know, just because!

Re: Spring has finally Sprung
I work on Commercial Glasshouses. Maintenance, repair, and specialise in the electrical side of things. At the mo, work is slow, so im only really doing 2 days a week, but those two days pay me a minimum of a weeks wage, so im not complaining!
Nearly had me a whole new Kit today, but got declined on the buy now pay later ( self employment sucks in that respect!) and couldnt afford to lump out the £1400, so will have to wait til april/may :(

Re: Spring has finally Sprung
Prices are way too high at the moment anyway.
I nipped into J&S in Hamilton today looking for a new pair of summer gloves, but they were looking for £80 for them.
The old ones will last.

I might head into Edinburgh later this afternoon to strengthen my wrists up a bit. (Nothing like city centre traffic for turning your forearms and wrists to stumps )

Glad you enjoyed it JAM - Hope that doesn't mean you were doing the insane today.
I know I was - but that was when I realised what my bike was doing to my pockets :( during an MOT.
Cheers
