Bike speed signs
FYI on the a82 and a85 in Scotland.
Yet to see them.
Has anyone on here seen them yet?
The normal motorbike signs I've seen I read as 'some great twisties coming up'.

Re: Bike speed signs
surely if the signs are solar powered they wont work up with you lot north of the boarder?
I mean if that photos from scotland it has to have been photoshopped.... though you may not have any solar powered signs you wont have a bleedin hosepipe ban..

Re: Bike speed signs
Scotland do seem to do a lot more 'aimed at bikers' signage, I do hope riders heed them saving lives and accidents.
I must admit when I first saw the twisties one, it did seem like an invitation for 'better biking roads ahead'. I was a bit thick with the other one and needed it to be explained, depicting a biker lent over and the risk of hitting an oncoming vehicle - don't get too close to the white line, your body could well be over it and your head could hit an oncoming vehicle.
Think that sign will have a wind turbine backup, for those darker periods.
Croydon Council put up a lot of signs warning motorists to look out for us, nice to know they care.

Re: Bike speed signs
I've since found out why the signs were put up. It's the second largest borough but has the highest motorcycle accident rate in the capital.
The signs have been replaced now, something like Don't do Drugs and Drive
