Not long back from Aldi's and had a wee fashion show witnessed by my cat (Holly that is, not Thunder) trying out the new gear before going out on a test run. Got to say it's really rather good, the base layer stretchy stuff is an absolute bargain. I bought a set of the base and the windproof stuff and a neck thingy. And first impressions are excellent. Cheers Aldi! Very Happy

Doesn't look like they sold any at the one closest to me Tom. Frankly they did you a favour rather go for a Micron.

Well I didn't buy what I set out to, decided I'd rather get the EDZ 2nd layer. Bought the base layers, but haven't opened the boxes yet. The socks are way thinner than the Lidl ones I bought 3 or 4 years ago, might be too thin for winter, but seem good for general riding. I bought a pair and will see what they are like, think they'll be my summer wear Very Happy

The boots, umm, my Clarks work shoes have more strength. Even with my reduced arm twisting capabilities I was able to easily twist the boots. I had a look at the helmet and wouldn't recommend they even be used on a twist and wait.

Still worth a visit and take a look.

I already have two of the bike covers, one for the cat and one for the FZ. They are thin, but as I keep both bikes in the garage that is not an issue. Great dust covers.

The covers are fine for the garage. I bought the large one and it's huge.

The base layers are fine even though I feel like Tron in them!

Ellie,

Dont you mean you look like Tron? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I bought the windproof leggings for myself and the base layer leggings for Les, she suffers from cold legs when she goes to watch rugby.

Last nites try on session looked like an outtake of the black and white minstrel's changing room halfway through a show! rofl

Bought another chain and cover (for the RD).

Tried the boots, not comfortable and they did not look that sturdy tbh
