Lidl Bike gear - from 23rd Feb
Smaller range than previous years, but still worth a look.
Looks like they have dumped their electrical / electronic items. There's a ratchet spanner and socket set for £39.99, not shown under the bike stuff but as Car accessories available at the same time.

Re: Lidl Bike gear - from 23rd Feb
Ive had the tank bag for 2 years now. No issues at all.
Plus I always use it when I'm on the bike for work.
Need the leggings next.

I have a pair of the gloves; they're ok for wet use but not that warm. I use them as spares when out on a long ride.
I also have the base layers and wear them pretty much every time out. Great buy.

If anyone likes the flip front helmets, there's has a free spare visor, spare padding, neck fleecey thing and flip down sun visor for £39.99.
Bike covers £8.99, winter gloves £13.99 and base layers too. Tank bags £19.99 and boots £24.99.

Bargain! Although I wouldn't trust a £39.99 helmet

Re: Lidl Bike gear - from 23rd Feb
People who have used there stuff on other forums rave about it. I've bought some spare base layers and a new cover.

Re: Lidl Bike gear - from 23rd Feb
Just called in a Lidl I was passing to have a look, was interested in the tech wear, oh my god looks like a third world or old eastern block country a day before their by monthly delivery during rationing; it looked abandoned, nothing left, gosh bikers love a good bargain, only thing left in The biker department was a few crash helmets, tbh I think you're getting what you pay for with it though you do get a lot of spares and extras with it, ( but then again is this because most of the parts will break or fail on it??)
Pity I wasn't in sooner I really wanted to get hold of some spare gloves :(

Re: Lidl Bike gear - from 23rd Feb
I have about 5 Lidl stores within a 3 mile radius, so tend to shop hop. In past years I have seen non bikers having a look at the socks, waterproofing and poking about other items which you can see them trying to work out what it is
Thing with the helmet is you'd need the spares as you not going to be able to get a spare visor in 6 months time from them. A helmet costing less than a replacement visor for mine, umm tempting.
The base layers are OK, I have found them not to be as good in the extremes (warm or cold) as EDZ, but for general temps they fine.
I have a pair of the gloves as a spare which I don't think I've ever used
