life really is a pile of poo at times

Just found out that Sarah - Yorkshire_Thundercat's wife - died today of bowel cancer - life is very cruel sometimes, 3 children lost both their parents within 3 years - i'm feeling very sad. Really makes you think about what is important in life, there was me feeling sorry for myself over bills earlier and the fact that Christopher's dad hasn't paid a penny towards him since he was 7 years old and can't be arsed to see him unless Christopher drives up there, didn't get him a christmas present or anything for his 21st and then i heard this - i have a lot to be grateful for.

I suppose the only conselation is that they're both together again.

Very sad news. Sorry to hear that Suzi.

I know a few on here got to know Yorkshire_Thundercat personally and if I remember correctly attended his funeral. Again if I remember correctly he was wiped out by a french driver in France and the driver was at fault.
I knew him only from his posts and banter on here. He was a great contributer to this site and his threads and posts live on here.

Very difficult for the kids and remaining family.

I know what me me and mine went through for a couple of years. I just know, that their children have the help and support from friends and family that we did.

:( can't believe that poor Sarah has now been taken from her kids, as well as them losing Nick less than 3 years ago.... unbelieveably sad news..... and I'm sure, if Nick's funeral was anything to go by, her send off will be a hugely well attended affair.... she was such a lovely woman when we met her, it's a huge loss and I can't express how sad I feel for her kids.

As Ellie has said, at least her and Nick are reunited again now.......

true - I thought that - they were childhood sweethearts.

Terrible for the family. I'm going to try a lot harder to appreciate the small things in life and not sweat so much about the bigger stuff. Life is too precious to waste.

Easy to say but hard to do, live life to the fullest you Possibly can, don't dwell on what could have been, you never know when you'll be taken from this earth, sing at the top of your voice, dance like no one is watching, remember to tell loved ones how much they mean to you at every opportunity, do something that scares you every day, life isn't a practise, you only get one shot at it. This life is more than just a read through.
My condolences to the family, too many people are taken from us prematurely but we must take solace in the fact that there is a greater purpose, one we cannot comprehend yet.
