Such a Shame
First topic message reminder :
I think it's such a shame most of you guys on here live further up the map!!! Everyone seems so nice and you all seem to know each other - obviously from rideouts etc But for us daaaaaaahhhhnn saaaaaauuuuuufffff it would be quite a long ride to come and meet up!!! Just wanted to vent a little frustration on here!! Hope ya don't mind

Re: Such a Shame
Steve,
I am travelling up from Peterborough to the Wee Mac (Selkirk) which is 266 miles from where I am. It's what the Cat was built for.
It's my intention to make a bit longer trip of it and divert through the Dales on the way. I will be going up on the Friday.
Just had a look on Google Maps and if I cut across (going North East) it only adds 30 Miles on, so if you decide to go then let me know in good time and we can plan route, stops etc.
John.

Re: Such a Shame
It's well worth the effort made and most of us make a weekend of it so its really not that long - in fact some if us have been known to go not to do the rideouts but to act as mum and do the catering instead lol .bikerbird wrote:I think it's such a shame most of you guys on here live further up the map!!! Re: Such a Shame
BikerBird - if you fancy a ride this weekend ( ooh err! ) me and a few guys from portsmouth will be out on a short one, probably be:
Portsmouth - Chichester - Midhurst - Petersfield - Loomies - Clanfield - Fareham - Portsmouth.
Only about 80 or so miles, but your more than welcome to join us if you like! Same goes to anyone else around this way
