BlueZed visiting Scarborough area

BlueZed (Thomas) will be visiting the UK from Bavaria 28th May - 4th June.

Thinking of arranging a rideout up to Scarborough to say hi. Anyone else interested?

Date set: Sunday 3rd June

Details:
9:30 depart Humber Bridge car park (North bank) - crossing the Humber Bridge is now free for bikes; you still have to stop at the toll booth!
10:30 arrive Seaways, Fridaythorpe, E Yorks
11:00 depart Seaways
12:00 arrive Oliver's Mount, Scarborough
Lunch. Meet Thomas & family
Route(s) back to be decided.

Been a bit of a rough winter for me on a personal level, but things are getting back on track and I'm hoping to be out and about on the Cat by the end of March, so I'll put down a tentative yes for a run to Scarboro at the end of May.

We're gonna arrive on the ferry in Hull on Monday morning the 28th and leave again on the 4th.

So when are you thinking of coming to Scarborough?

ohhh man.i gotta go back to work on the 25th or i woulda come down to meet you guys...hope you have a blast over here...I'm sure a few of our buddies will come along to say hi...hopefully catch up with you in the Alps next year!!

I have sent you my mobile number. Where are you based? Near or in Scarborough? How easy is it for you to get around. I'm trying to think of somewhere to meet up that doesn't mean going into the town centre? The cafe at Olivers Mount perhaps?

How does Sunday 3rd June sound to everyone? What time do you want to meet up?

Was thinking of having a pick up point at the Humber Bridge. Anyone want to join up elsewhere?

Well... we're coming by car so as long as the meet is somewhere reachable by car I can get there

We're actually staying at the Haven Primrose Valley site near Filey and the in-laws live in Brompton-by-Sawdon. So all around Scarborough really...

Don't have any plans yet for that Sunday so looking good
