Hi,

I bought some motrax racing handle bar grips and since i've put them on my throttle is sticking!!! i think its sticking at the grip is too small and squeezing the throttle so it doesnt return. does anyone recommend grips to replace them with/?

many thanks

have you got them the right way round.
one should be slightly bigger than the other for this reason.
bigger hole for throttle and the smaller the other.

Check that the grip isn't rubbing against the stationary part of the handlebar. Heated grips often have this problem and it is possible your racing grips are catching too.

The solution, if this is the case, is to trim the rubber on the left hand side of the grip - not what you really want to do when spending on new grips, but safety first.

would it not be easier to slacken the throtle assembly, and slide it out a couple of MM to see if this clears the problem........
