Still Alive
Hi all (if you remember me). I'm back. Used to be Topcatbones but had to re-register. (now back as topcatbones - thanks Tel)
Sorry I've been away so long. I had real problems with my home PC, it just wouldn't let me into the site, no matter what I did.
So how come I'm back in now? Well, I'm using my new girlfriends laptop and not having any problems apart from having to change my site name. Hopefully now I can visit more often.
Nothing much has changed for me. I've still got the Fireblade, which is currently laid up needing a new rear tyre after many miles this last summer, finishing off with a puncture which has been plugged, but I don't really trust it.
I've also still got the old Honda XL100S which I'm still using quite a bit. Had a few problems with the engine, even bought another engine, a CG125, but that didn't work out. Currently though, it's working ok.
Personal life has moved on. As has been mentioned, got a new Girlfriend, sadly not a biker, but is well into her horses. We've been together now for just over 3 months and things are going really well.
Why am I writing this during a working day? I've got a prolapsed disc and have been off work now for nearly 2 weeks having been advised to have bedrest or I will probably need an op on the back. Needless to say, I stayed in bed. Pleased to say it is a lot better now though and I should be back to work at the end of the week.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everyone that knows me and also to those I haven't met yet.
ATB
Tony

Re: Still Alive
Welcome back tony. I have a crushed lower disc that occasionally flares up & hurts like hell but most of the time it is just a dull ache. All the best mate.

Re: Still Alive
When I saw TCB I thought that is the same initials as Top Cat Bones - I haven't heard from Tony in a while.
As i started to read your post I obviously I realised it was you and then wondered.....I wonder if has a new a)bike, b)woman or c) injury
2 out of 3 ain't bad......You should have gone for the new bike instead of the injury though!
Nice you see you on here again Tony - It's been a while.
Sincerely hope you get very well very soon.
Cheers
Ross
