It's Alive!
David Attenborough voice.....
"And here, hidden in the depths of this damp and dark cave, we can see the first stirrings of life from this elusive creature, the lesser-spotted Thundercat. After a long winter in hibernation, she slowly emerges into the cold spring morning. She hesitates, taking a little time to acclimatise to the weather - after such a long period of sleep it takes her a few minutes to get going again. A few coughs and some warm-up exercises and she's ready to face the new year. She takes a brief foray into the wilderness, not too far but enough to shake off the effects of hibernation. She sheds her old skins, revealing a pair of deeply-grooved replacements.... and she's going to need them, as she has a long way to go this year, joining up with a pack of relatives and returning to the place of her origin.
As the summer arrives she will spend more time outside and will cover great distances. But now, she rests again. It has been a short but tiring day and she needs to sleep."

Re: It's Alive!
Wet and windy it may be, my cat is back out on the road as well, with lots of shiny new bits and pieces for this year...lovely stuff.
Trouble is, it's the new tyres that are the shiny bits...
Think I'll wait for a drier day...

Re: It's Alive!
Well, You'll all be pleased to hear that Ezz is alive, well and ready and raring to go. Picked her up from her mot/service on friday - £275 all in - she had the valves done (or rather not because apparently they were spot on) and carbs sorted - apparently they were as far out as a far out man smoking the world's biggest joint! They even sorted the scott oiler which i hadn't asked them to do because i know Julian hates them with a passion - oh and cleaned her too (tho there was mention that that was done to polish off the big boot mark lol).
Apparently I need a new screen - can't complain - that was Amos' freebie so it's lasted me nearly 3 years .... so ...... if anyone is getting rid of a double dark screen gissa shout.

Re: It's Alive!
That sounds a fairly reasonable price for a major service & mot.

Re: It's Alive!
yeah i thought so too - they kept apologising to me for it - so i helped myself to one of their Arai teddy bears and to make them feel better i didn't pay for it so that was a tenner i savedyamahamad wrote:That sounds a fairly reasonable price for a major service & mot.
(when i say i helped myself i did actually say 'can i have one of these' i didn't hide it or anything!!!!!! otherwise i may have landed up filming myself and finding '8 other people broadly similar in appearance' to myself!!)
