Since it is fairly unanimously agreed that the Cat's headlight is poor, it got me to musing as to what bike then has the "best" headlight.
Any suggestions?

Also rode past a Harley the other day coming towards me and the guy had fitted a small, but very bright, light to the bottom of each front fork. Certainly made me take notice and look more than once to make sense of what was coming towards me. Anyone tried these out?

Cheers

You see a lot of adventure bikes (BMW GS and the like) with those auxiliary lights.

If it's running lights you're after (ie, to be seen rather than to see with) then these look good. I have been musing the idea of fitting some bright white LEDs to the mirrors - high and wide apart makes the bike more imposing and visible.

Wellllll, the very best headlights I've ever sat behind have been on the RRY and 02~03 Fireblades . . . to answer your original question.

I've just received a set of the BiikeVis LEDs too, but haven't got around to fitting them yet. Good job too, as the pheasant that flew into me this afternoon would have wiped off the offside one!

Best headlghts I've ever ridden behind, by a long way, were on an Aprilia RSV-R.
