Coolant/Antifreeze/Stuff that goes in teh radiator
Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for the mixture to put into the coolant bottle under teh seat. I noticed that mine was epic low the other day and realised I have no idea what I am to put in it. Does Halfords do anything worth buying or should I get it from amazon or another online establishment?
Thanks

You need ethylene glycol antifreeze mixed 50/50 with water unless it is ready mixed. The max Mark on the coolant reservoir is probably half way down the tank allowing for expansion.

Castrol, and others, do motorcycle-specific ready-mixed coolants, available from many bike dealers. The Castrol one is straw yellow, others may be blue, but I think they are all compatible.
Alternatively, a local motor factor recommended some pink "long life" antifreeze which he said is the latest spec being used in VW's etc. and last a minimum of 5 years. This needed diluting 50/50 with deionised water, available from the same source.
