How's everyone getting up to The Big Mac

Hi All,

I've been planning my trip up north and was wondering what everyone else's travel plans were?

My plans - leaving Thirsk around 2pm on Thursday to head up to Ross's. Will be going via Alston if the weather permits and then a not too direct route across The Borders - I want to avoid the motorway if at all possible. Plans are flexible if there's a chance of meeting up with others for the trip up. Otherwise I'll see some of you on Thursday night and all of you, I hope, on Friday night.
Safe riding everyone. Looking forward to this a lot. Going to get wet, but ...... it's Scotland!

Tail pack fitted on to the bike, tank bag sorted.. just need to finish work on time to get to meet at scotch corner..bring it on all, big mac is on!

Our German friends arrived for coffee and then for 2nd's we had fish suppers and haggis suppers washed down with Mayonnaise and not much Irn-Bru.

Scramble for local cheap accommodation and then found one about 2 miles away.

Made sure they settled in and got familiar with the locals in the pub and left them to it.

They are off to Hein Gericke in Glasgow today for an issue with a mechanism on the helmet.

With those coming up today and our German cousins that'll be about a ten biker group.
Good wee warm up for the main event.

Zee Germans are off to Mallaig today and tonight and then Skye and onwards and upwards to Ullapool.

We haven't arranged to meet as such.

As long as we all get to Ullapool to tomorrow evening that will be fine.
