What did you make of the ride between Spittal of Glenshee (the hotel there is pretty good, they make an effort for the summer tourists) and the resort area itself?
..On the way down it's easy to belt it, but I found and had to ride the back brake a lot to keep the nose down on the crests.
(I've seen a lot of coffee and soup hitting the roof in Ford Transit minibuses on that road when we were heading home. )
TBH I can't remember. I think we only came back that way on the Sunday ride out after visiting one of the lochs.
Which was :

Basically it was a cracking weekend in which I did around 1500 miles, after only been back on the bike for four months! Talk about in at the deep end.

Re: Ride to Work Day 2011
Got a wee job on in Oban tomorrow and the weather is meant to be perfect.
Minimal tools and spares required (if at all), so they'll fit in a daysack with the laptop, ideal for the bike.
(Especially that mad bit of the A82 up the side of Loch Lomond between Tarbet and Ardlui where you always get caught in a snake of traffic behind a lorry or a caravanner*)
I might even take the long road back via Lochgilphead and Inverary.
*It's not their fault, there's just no room.
