oops...first damage done
today i am out in the rain fixing the indicator and the tiny tiny crack in the fairing caused by a massive argument with the gatepost whilst getting the bike back on the drive yesterday

Them damned gateposts, they leap out at you when you least expect it.
Hope the damage is minimal and easily fixed LC.

Re: oops...first damage done
all fixed, and surprisingly when it happened i was cool as a cucumber, cos theyre were people watching, and my main concern was calmly unwedging it , and pushing it in like nothing had happened lmao

Don't worry about it. I once got off mine and forgot to put the side stand down, very embarrassing.

Or wear them down avoiding rabbits at 60mph or after having gone less than 50 yds on a brand new rear tyre.littlecat wrote:yep, crash bungs already on when i boght it, probably woulda had more damage otherwise, all in all i got off lightly , cos i got it proper stuck lol

Re: oops...first damage done
Hah, it's nice to see others owning up to the classic disclock error. Took me about three days to do that with the Cat. I patched it all up with resin and a Union Jack sticker. Did it again about six months later (fortunately I got two stickers) and THEN decided I should get one of those reminder cables that runs to the bars.
Not done it since :-)
(I have discovered the corrosive properties of petrol but that's another
issue)
