been to A&E, this might slow me down a bit
am back from my local hospital, on crutches and codeine, awaiting an MRI scan, they suspect a meniscus injury, which is basically a torn cartilage, i am currently not a happy bunny :(

Re: been to A&E, this might slow me down a bit
not entirely sure if it was dropping the er5 on my leg last sunday or digging out the space for the 'Cat to park on afterwards .
either way with plenty of ibuprofen and it tightly strapped i managed to do my mod 1 on it lol.
no intention yet of cancelling mod 2,but i will follow doctors orders for now, just fingers crossed they dont rush me for an op, or im buggered for most of the summer :(

Rest with some gentle exercise, anti-inflammatories and heat/ice would be my advise but then what do I know?!!

managing ok, resting and elevating it lots, tho i did work a little too long yesterday and paid for it with a painful night, off to outpatients this afternoon to see what they reckon.
i still think if i can manage to sit on my bum for a few days i will manage next friday. will just have to be prepared for a bad day saturday lol.

anadin joint pain tablets are your friend had my xrays todays (think i was in more pain with them after they'd started manipulating me into various positions to get my knees flat on the boards! get the results next week - i'm sure mine is general wear and tear after an old injury and just playing me up at the moment with a bit of arthritis thrown in for good measure - nothing tablets and alcohol won't cure
