Well as title says, i traded in my thundercat today... pick up my new bike on friday.

Been a great bike, just not sporty and quick enough for me anymore! Plus it needed a few jobs i didnt want to have to spend money on. Crying or Very sad

Hope im still welcome here, you are a good bunch !

Nice R6

Of course you are still most welcome here. Your not the only one to have changed up from the beloved cat and stay on site for the friendly atmosphere.

Look forward to your posts and banter.

Nice looking steed.

I was following a 2004 red & black R6 on ebay. It went for just £2750. It only had 4K on the clock.

Hi Davy

Nice looking bike there mate.
Not quick / sporty enough......I'd be surprised if there is much in it. Especially on the road.
Let us know after a good run in on the R6 what you think the differences are.

You'll still be welcome on here though.

Cheers

the r6 is quicker than the cat mate, and handles much better ... in my opinion..

I am guessing ya cat was tired & suspension was past its best if you think there is that much difference with the r6.

depends whose riding it. I've had a few different bikes, all pretty nippy and I still sometimes struggle to keep up with Rosco on his " old and tired " Thundercat.
The reason I parted with my cat a few years ago was just for a change, and fancied something more modern. The R6 is a cracking bike but I wouldn't think it would be that much faster really out on the road..
Anyway each to their own, enjoy the new bike mate it looks great!

Nice bike Davy...although they're quicker in red and white.

I found that, although certainly lighter and nimbler, you have to be a bit more careful about making sure you're in the right gear because the low end power doesn't match the cats.
