end of 2-wheels.org
this was sent to me ,,,,
It is with great sadness that the decision has been made to close the 2-wheels.org forum. The forum hasn't been used much over the last 6-12 months and, along with other forums, seems to have been taken over by Facebook and other social networking sites.
This, coupled with the fact that many members have moved on to other things, drifted away entirely or simply don't have bikes any more has made this decision somewhat easier.
The site will close on Tuesday August 31st so plenty of time to download any photos you may wish to keep.
On a personal note I'd like to say thanks to everyone who became a supporter during my 'financially challenging' period. I'd also like to thank Jono, Stu, Dan, Ken and Kathleen for their work in the upkeep of the place and special thanks to Jono, Stu and Dan for their friendship during the whole 2-wheels era although this won't change just because the sites closed.
Regards,
Paul (whiney) and the 2-wheels admin team.

Re: end of 2-wheels.org
Me too.
Pity really but perhaps I'm a bit guilty as well as I haven't been on there for a long long time.
Perhaps they will come back to the "spiritual" home.

Re: end of 2-wheels.org
I too received the sad email and news of the forum closure . . . tis a pity as i know a lot of hard work goes into these things.
As TCB says perhaps they may return to reform the southern chapter of the 'spiritual' home .
I know some are still members here.

Re: end of 2-wheels.org
Probably more South East centric really Pete.
I'm still holding the fort for the South West. It's a hard and lonely job but someone's got to do it. lol.

Re: end of 2-wheels.org
Facebook is killing many forums
thebikeforum I contribute a lot is finding it hard too. That has been running 7 years but drumming up support for meets is hard going. You guys do a superb job on here and I would come to all the meets if I could. I immensely enjoyed BC1 and 2 and am looking to helping out on BC3
