Weh hey! :whoop:
Fantastic feeling getting your first big bike - enjoy.
And love the colour! The most distinctive IMHO.
Hope you get it up to your spec asap and we see you on a rideout sometime.
Safe riding,
Chris

wow
been on my first fun ride outing.
WOW its immense, went out from altrincham for a blast down to jodrell bank and around that area and a quick coke at the whipping stocks inn too.
the bike was really well behaved,........................i was not.
did take it handy though, made some lovely bends and made a few school boy errors too.
all in all a great first ride and nicely finished off by nearly dropping my bike in the pub car park
cheers for the posts.
a north west meet would go down well i reckons.

Re: first viewing and trial of a CAT
Congrats!! If you want a NW rideout, why dont you try Chris's S&T?
LOL @ Fi!! Thats a brave admission in writing LOL, Lets hope theres no boys in blue watching...
Yep Suzie, having a restricted bike means I have to wring its neck to keep up with everyone, but I do my best to keep up.....................Better not do that when I first jump on him de-restricted!! (Which just happens to be in 15 days time....)
Think I may need a few tootles around on my own to build my confidence again
Yet I seem to go well beyond the speed limit without wringing anything must just be talent

Not of course that you should have to because, as others would no doubt quickly point out if i didn't, that on this forum (well, ANY group rideout come to that) people should ride to the slowest so no one should be having to wring anything to keep up. I'm afraid i can't be bothered to try and either impress or keep up with anyone - i have the confidence that if people don't like the speed i ride at - well, they can feck off and leave me I hope i ride to my ability not to keep up - i like to know i can stop when i brake
sorry, the impress bit came out wrong but you know what i mean i know i ride well - i've been told i ride very well by 2 police bike instructors/examiners and that'll do me

Re: first viewing and trial of a CAT
PMSL..... well, I just like to be upfront and honest with anything I say or do Ellie, and I'm quite sure I'll not be the only one on here that manages to get beyond the speed limit on occasions, but hey, most police do as well, I know that coming from traffic cop stock - at least Dad taught me well!!!
I'm like Suzie, I ride 'within' my ability, not at it's limit..... but then I suppose it's down to the individual to decide how skilful they are at the end of the day

Have a go on mine while it's restricted Suzie LOL, then you'll see what I mean!! It's OK until I go up hill then I lose all power!!
Plus I can asure you my 'limit' while restricted struggles to get to the speed limit LOL

Re: first viewing and trial of a CAT
The 'marker' system that is used on this gangs rideouts is absolutley bloody fantastic and means pace isn't even an issue so everyone rides to their own ability. I've even intoduced it with the others I ride out with. It goes wrong rarely but when it does the numpty points are there to remind us...
