A wet day in Wales.....
We rode to the Nant-y-Arian Red Kite Centre near Aberystwyth on a wet Saturday morning in Wales, to enjoy my birthday pressie, which was a treat from Nick in the form of a days 'Trail Biking'.
A little nervous, we changed into protective gear and rode of into the Welsh forests ... What a day, plenty of hills, streams, tracks and gates to go through, the scenery was stunning

We rode all morning, through farm yards, down rock steps, up rocky paths and through streams, past plenty of sheep and on to Borth for lunch.
After lunch we rode along the coast and back towards Aber.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
We carried on down slippery grass hills and along farm tracks and I only fell off once much to Nicks amusement!!! Landing in a heap and very pleased no-one had a camera anywhere near!!!

I cant bloody walk today, I hurt in places I didnt know existed, but I had the best time ever, I could easily ditch the road biking, dodging speed cameras and dealing with dickheads in cars for the peace, tranquility and fun of riding though the countryside!!!

Wow......looks like fun. Glad you enjoyed it.
How's about a thundercats off-riding day next year???
Anyone fancy?
Is Wales the place to do it?
Anyone fancy organising it?
