I am annoyed with myself for not taking a pic of my tyre when I marbled it like yours, didn't realise it would wear off so quickly. Not likely to do that again
See you are using just about all your tyre there Davy

Re: Show us your chicken strips!
I can beat all of you. I haven't got any chicken strips whatsoever.
That's cos my tyres are brand new and haven't even been ridden from the tyre shop to home. Took the wheels off and had them done.
Problem was, 3 days after having the new tyres fitted, I decided to break my arm.
Won't be long now though.
I'm off to France in July to stay with Frank and Lynn (Copout and Switchblade). On the main road near their house is a piece of road used for hillclimbs several times a year. Just superb and an excellent piece of road to get rid of any chicken strips. Can't wait.

Re: Show us your chicken strips!
well as [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.], here's my back tyre:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
hopefully not too embarassing, considering the tyre's about 6-7k old and getting a bit square (the front's even worse ). I do get the bike over a bit occasionally when I'm getting a move on but I'm usually bimbling along the A4... which doesn't have enough decent bends!
as an aside, what the hell is the elephant on my tyre???

Don't suppose it's a Metlzer tyre is it? Some vendors put their logo at the edge of the tyre

Yup it's a Metzeler Roadtec (or whatever their sports-touring tyre is called).
