We're going Saturday 29th so i can spend all my birthday money and blag the bargains (ok so i won't have any burffday money but i'll buy something anyway and then cough to me dear ole ma who will shake her head and say wearily 'suzanne this is the very last time i buy you anything for you bike and i mean it' and give me it for christmas - where would we be without our mums!)

I got off very lightly .... a new pair of gloves!

Spent too much

J&S seemed to have some of the best discounts, along with the stores surrounding it. As you got further towards the back of the show prices seemed to get more and more like high street. Some of stands were having a laff with their RRP's and some of the 'bargains' were more expensive than online prices - definitely pays to do your homework first and/or take t'interweb in some shape or form with you.

The furthest hall was far from full (in fact it looked more empty than full) and a few of the people I talked to said it was quieter than last year, only to be expected I suppose.

Interesting that despite the credit crunch, the gloves for a tenner tha every stall usually has by the bucketload are now all gloves for fifteen quid.
