Tank & Fairings painted (not laquered yet)

Starting to put her back together

I know the graphics arnt original but I wanted something a little more subtle.

So far pretty much everything ive removed has been replaced (mainly with Yam original parts too), swingarm bearings and bush were knackered so yam originals went in, rear wheel bearings, dust seals etc, new DID X-ring chain and new sprockets, replaced all the disc bolts. Some of the casings that were tatty have been rubbed down and repainted/laquered (aerosol jobby) and fasteners removed and replaced with new stainless items.

Indicentally found a company www.a2stainless.co.uk that are dirt cheap for stainless fasteners provided you measure up what you want as they dont really do bike specific stuff.

Anyways, thats as far as i've got with it so far just waiting for the sprayer to finish off the nosecone and 2 side panels

I normally try to take credit for anything and blame for nothing but can't on this occasion since I'm quite sure you meant Ratty.

Might just give the HID conversion at £46 a go myself.
Just how good was it Ratty? Easy enough to fit?

Ps. Love the avatar Ratty. As long as it's only the cardboard ones you're giving grief to then you'll be just fine.

Cheers
Rosco
