Hi from an ex-cat owner
Hi there,
Joined up from the old site and must say I prefer the look and layout of this one.
Currently without Thundercat (I binned it at Mallory Park in July - while doing an IAM skills day no less ). My injuries were pretty bad and I'm still recovering, but hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back in the saddle - maybe spring/summer. I was gutted about the bike as I picked her up May 2007 and she was a beaut - 2001/Y with only 3.5K on the clock - a minter.
Ride safe folks
Rob

Re: Hi from an ex-cat owner
Welcome over from the other site, glad you made the leap.
Sorry to hear of your misfortune on the track day. Was the bike totaled too or is it repairable ?
Which ever hope your pains heal well and soon.
Be good to see you out and about next season on a ride out.
Seasons Greetings

Hiya,
The bike, unfortunately, was a write off. But because it was an IAM skills training day (oh the irony ) and not an ordinary track day the insurance paid out.
Was quite a serious crash (90 round Gerrards) and I did a fair bit of damage to me, which is taking its time to heal (over 5 months and counting!).
Went to the NEC and sat on a few bikes (for the first time since the crash) just to see how it felt - was ok, so hoping the injuries won't stop me riding.
Don't know what I'll get in place of the cat yet but will definitely be up for ride outs - the more the merrier!
Cheers
