What I learned yesterday...
Firstly happy birthday to all the ones I missed last week!
But this is what I learned yesterday lunchtime whilst out for a run on the 'ace in the cold....
1 It is not acceptable to do 95mph on the A1.
2 It is not acceptable to have a personal plate on one line. It must be on two lines.
3 It is not acceptable to ride a bike on the road with 'Not for road use' stamped on the end can, even if it is covered with a well placed sticker.
4 It is not acceptable to cruise down to 40 when coming into a 40 zone. If you are doing 42 miles an hour when you cross the mark you are speeding.
So, just thought that I would let you all know just in case there was any doubt in anyones mind! I now know.....

I hope you thanked the 'boy in blue' who taught you all this, most sincerely........
Re: What I learned yesterday...
The question is - where you verbally advised of this or did that nasty man write you out a bit of paper?

I did get off lightly to be fair. Got a 60 quid fixed penalty for the plate, a rectification thingy for the can and let off both the speeding ones... The cop was a bike cop in a volvo, he still had his gear on from when he was out in the morning. Still, looking for a new pipe on fleabay is looking costly!
